GOD'S PLAN OF SALVATION

Do you want to go to Heaven?  Do you know how to get to Heaven? Has some man, maybe from a denominational group, told you that all you had to do was believe and hold Jesus in your heart? Or, that you just pray "the sinner's prayer" and you are good to go? Wouldn't you like to know the TRUTH? Wouldn't it be great if God laid out a plan from the Bible that, if you followed those directions, your soul would be made acceptable and Jesus would present you to God as a perfect servant unto Him?

Well, God has done that very thing. Below, we have written it out, quoting book, chapter, and verse for everyone to follow.

Hear: You must first hear the Word of God. How do we hear? By reading God's Word, the Holy Bible.

Romans 10:17-So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Believe:  You must believe that Jesus is the Son of God, based upon the ample evidence to be found in the Bible.

John 8:24- I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

Repent: That means that you no longer live a life of disobedience to God's word, but will, to the best of your ability, live on God's terms.

Luke 13:3- I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

Confess: You must confess your faith in Jesus as the Son of God before men.

Matthew 10:32-33- Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in Heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in Heaven.

Baptism: Jesus said that one who believes and is baptized will be saved.

Mark 16:16- He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Faithful: You must be willing to be faithful to God's commandment's 

Matthew 28:20- Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Each one of these steps, together, are necessary to become a Christian and receive the gift of eternal salvation.
