The church of Christ began on the day of Pentecost around 2,000 years ago as described in the book of Acts.

Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about 3,000 souls.

The church of Christ is non-denominational, free of man made traditions, and is literally the body of Christ with Jesus being the head over it.

Ephesians 1:22-23 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

The church of Christ uses the Holy Bible as it's  doctrine. 

II Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

The congregation of the church of Christ at Yuma consists of people considered by many as friends, co-workers, family members, or people you might pass by on the street or see in stores. We are ordinary, everyday people that have the passion and desire to obey God's Word to the best of our ability. We invite you to come and investigate how we worship God, study the Bible, and share in the Christian love we have for one another.
